In college I was interested in Accounting. I spoke with an intern who had a great experience with the company. I knew I wanted to take a position in accounts , but wanted to work for a Company that I could be proud of and was World Class. During the interview process, I was inspired by all of the employees I met with and also learned about the projects that the Company was pursuing. I found that there would be many opportunities for me at Great Brands and it has a place for one to build a career.

We encounter issues from time to time in the Accounts department. These problems also give me the opportunity to figure out how to improve productivity. We assessed how we did everything (process, systems, roles, staffing), how we could improve, what we could eliminate, and what we could make better. The common themes throughout the projects have been improving systems and efficiency.

The best part are the people in the organization and the Management's positive posture to the development of our careers.

My next steps are to work through different roles within Accounts, to continue learning the different areas in Accounting. I also want to pursue a Professional Certification and Great Brands will help support me in those. The company is great in helping me grow through rotations and education.

You need to work for a company where you believe in the objective and values. Great Brands is a great company with great opportunities. It is a great place to acquire new skills and build a long-term career.
